Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill - Paid Research Study $10/hr - Ages 18-40 - in Recovery

Seeking People In Recovery For Paid Behavioral Research

The Boettiger Lab at UNC Chapel Hill is conducting a study to explore the role of learning in addiction. We are recruiting volunteers who are between the ages of 18 and 40 with a history of substance abuse who are currently abstinent. Your participation would require you to come to our laboratory on the University of North Carolina campus for two separate sessions and complete learning-related tasks on the computer for about 1.5 hours per session. For your participation, you will be compensated with $10/hour.

Other requirements:
o No history of seizure, head injury, loss of consciousness, or other known neurological problems
o No psychiatric diagnoses (aside from substance abuse/dependence)
o Not currently using any psychoactive drugs (including antidepressants)
o Normal color vision
